Located in the heart of Ozaukee County, Grafton is situated at the eastern end of State Highway 60 on Interstate 43. We invite you to spend time at a family farm, golf on challenging courses, enjoy the Interurban Trail where it crosses the Milwaukee River, fish, ice skate on outdoor rinks, and enjoy a diverse array of stores, shops and restaurants.

Events sure to please include the Grafton Downriver Canoe Run, which takes place annually on the fourth Sunday in April rain, snow or shine! The course is a 14-mile trip down the Milwaukee River. Bicyclist of all ages will thrill to the professional competition  at the new Giro d' Grafton Bike Race.  This event  is Wisconsin's first ever professional bike race under lights, coupled with a Downtown Block Party in the Paramount Plaza, there will be entertainment and fun into the evening.

Holidaze 4th of July Celebration is held at Lime Kiln Park and features live bands, carnival rides, bingo and the county’s largest fireworks display. A patriotic family event not to be missed.

Spend sultry summer evenings on the banks of the Milwaukee River at GALA’s Summer Concerts in the Park. If you’re visiting in July and August, bring your lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic supper, as the entire family listens to a variety of toe tapping, sing along music at free weekly performances.

Grafton recognizes its contribution to the music recording industry at the Paramount Blues Festival.  2007 is the 90th anniversary of the Paramount Recording Studio.  At the studio located in Grafton, Paramount Records produced roughly twenty-five percent of all blues, jazz, country and gospel music recorded in the U.S. at a recording studio located in Grafton.

Join us as we usher in the holidays with the regionally famous Annual Grafton Christmas Parade, the largest parade north of Milwaukee featuring marching bands and drill teams, a variety of entertaining special units, live animals, floats, celebrities & Santa Claus.
