ART GALLERIES AND STUDIOS The county has many art galleries and studios that show case talents in a wide variety of media
CEDAR CREEK is home to a 5.5 mile canoe ride which begins at Covered Bridge Park and ends at Boy Scout Park in downtown Cedarburg.
CEDAR CREEK SETTLEMENT
A former 1864 woolen mill on the National Register of Historic Places, now home to dozens of specialty shops, galleries, restaurants and a winery.
CEDAR CREEK WINERY
located in the historic Cedar Creek Settlement, has daily tours and wine tasting.
CEDARBURG BOG
located west of Saukville, is a 2,000 acre Mesozoic bog, the southern most of its kind in the state. Also located there is a University of Wisconsin Research Station.
CEDARBURG CULTURAL CENTER
features permanent and temporary exhibitions exploring the community’s history, heritage, and contemporary culture. A historic walking tour is also available.
CEDARBURG GENERAL STORE MUSEUM This newly restored building, circa 1860’s, houses a collection of antique advertising art and packaging, displayed to recreate a typical general store. The Cedarburg Visitor’s Center is located in
the museum.
COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
located in Cedarburg & adjacent to Firemen’s Park, host the annual County Fair.
COVERED BRIDGE COUNTY PARK
located north of Cedarburg, on Cedar Creek has the last remaining covered bridge in Wisconsin. Picnicking is also available.
EGHART HOUSE
in downtown Port Washington, is a Victorian cottage restored and furnished to its original condition.
ELECTRIC INTERURBAN RAILWAY DEPOT This historic landmark depot is the last remaining building of the Milwaukee to Sheboygan Interurban Transit System that served Ozaukee County from 1907–1948. The fully restored cream city brick building located on Center Street in Cedarburg serves as the expanded Ozaukee County Archives Research Center & Museum operated by the Ozaukee County Historical Society.
FIREMEN’S PARK in Cedarburg, is the site of the annual Maxwell Street Days.
FREISTADT is a small community settled back in 1839 by immigrants of Pomerania (later Germany). The Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, the oldest Lutheran church in Wisconsin, is also located there. Freistadt is now a part of Mequon.
HARRINGTON BEACH STATE PARK
occupies 702 acres of land along the shore of Lake Michigan, just east of Belgium. The park offers picnicking, camping, volleyball, hiking, nature study, fishing, a sandy beach, an inland quarry lake, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
HISTORIC HAMILTON an 1840’s community located along the Green Bay Ethnic Trail, is a state historical site and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
KUHEFUSS HOUSE constructed in 1849, makes it one of the oldest homes in historic Cedarburg.
LIGHTHOUSE MUSEUM
built atop St. Mary’s Hill in Port Washington, is an historic coast guard station lighthouse that now houses the local historical society collection.
LIME KILN PARK is a beautiful park located along the Green Bay Ethnic Trail in Grafton, features restored lime kiln chimneys and a picturesque dam.
LION’S DEN GORGE NATURE PRESERVE
 is a 73 acre regional natural area located between Grafton and Port Washington. Hiking trails through the different ecosystems; views of Lake Michigan from the bluffs. Access to Lake Michigan shoreline.
LUXEMBOURG AMERICAN CULTURAL CENTER
features the Roots and Leaves Immigration Museum house in Wisconsin’s last Luxembourg stone barn along with a research and genealogy center.
NATIONAL FLAG DAY FOUNDATION AMERICANISM CENTER
located inside the former Grand View School building in Waubeka, contains Flag Day memorabilia & other articles of patriotism.
OCTAGON BARNS
found throughout Ozaukee County are monuments of early German settlers who built these structures beginning in 1890.
ORCHARDS, PRODUCE FARMS AND ROADSIDE STANDS are located throughout the county offering a variety of fruit & vegetables.
OZAUKEE ART CENTER located in one of Wisconsin’s oldest breweries, features exhibitions and workshops in all media.

The county offers two different local brewers.
OZAUKEE COUNTY PIONEER VILLAGE
located in northern Ozaukee County near Fredonia, is a living history museum of over 20 buildings from the 1840’s to 1907 era.
PARAMOUNT HISTORICAL MARKER
 Identifies the world-renown spot where the best of the Delta Blues artists recorded in the early 1900’s near the corner of 12th Avenue and Falls Road along the Milwaukee River in Grafton. The foundations and rusted power wheel of the pressing plant that distributed the best of jazz, gospel, early country, dance band, blues and ethnic music still remain.
PEBBLE HOUSE built in 1848, this stone house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Port Washington Visitor’s Center is located in the house.
PORT WASHINGTON MARINA & HARBOR
 is one of the most popular fishing and sailing ports on Lake Michigan.
TENDICK NATURE COUNTY PARK has an 18-hole professional disc golf course, hiking and kayak/canoe access to the Milwaukee River.
WAUBEDONIA COUNTY PARK has 10 campsites on the Milwaukee River. Tennis courts, baseball fields, playground, shelter, fishing and a boat launch.
